Making a call   Llamando por teléfono 

If you need to make a telephone call, you have to pick up the receiver and dial a telephone number. When the telephone rings, the person we are calling answers it. It may happen that the telephone is engaged at that moment. 

Si necesitas hacer una llamada telefónica, debes levantar el tubo y marcar un número de teléfono. Cuando el teléfono suena, la persona a quien llamamos lo contesta. Puede ocurrir que el teléfono se encuentre ocupado en ese momento.
